Abigail Hardy’s Book

English by Abigail Hardy 1681 to 1730

This thin, leather-bound book is crudely made and put together. It is held together with stitching that appear to be woven of some kind of hair and the clasp appears to be bone. There is a leather bookmark connected to the cover with brass gewgaws upon it.

The book is Abigail Hardy’s journal/diary, and magical tome though no dates are really given. It includes some tales of her life as well as an indication that, with the right spells and magic, one could make oneself a god, though time and (most importantly) the essence of innocents are both needed. It is surprisingly easy to understand.

Found by Robert Newman at the house on Academy Avenue in March 1926.
